When Shaggy inherits a Southern plantation from his Uncle Beauregard, he takes his faithful companions Scooby and Scrappy-Doo to explore their new abode. To their surprise, they discover a creepy manservant and a collection of ghostly tenants, as well as a hidden fortune in family jewels on the estate. Terrified by these supernatural encounters, Shaggy and Scooby decide to call in the services of the Boo Brothers: Freako, Streako, and Meako, a team of barely scary ghosts.
As the ghosts begin to chase the trio, the pursuit leads them on a wild ride through the estate, with the group darting from one end to the other, navigating trap doors, secret tunnels, runaway contraptions, and dangerous booby traps. With each narrow escape, the tension builds, as Scooby, Scrappy, and Shaggy find themselves constantly evading the ghostly forces that seem to lurk around every corner.
The estate becomes a maze of supernatural activity, with the Boo Brothers joining the chase, adding to the chaos and confusion. The group's only hope is to outwit the ghosts and uncover the hidden family jewels before they fall victim to the estate's mysterious and perilous haunts.
As they navigate the twists and turns of the plantation, the friends must rely on their wits, their courage, and their loyalty to one another to survive the supernatural onslaught and solve the mystery that lies at the heart of the estate. With each close call and daring escape, the adventure becomes more thrilling, leaving the reader on the edge of their seat, eager to see if Scooby, Scrappy, and Shaggy can emerge victorious against the haunting forces that have taken over their inheritance.
